Getting Here

The Women’s Center for Creative Work is located on the left side of the cul de sac at the end of Glover Place. Turn off Riverside Dr. and come all the way down to the end of the street, through the gate, to a parking lot flanked by warehouses. We are located in the house-like building with a garden.

Please drive slowly when coming through the neighborhood.

Parking
You are welcome to park in any space on the left hand side of the parking lot (same side as the center), this includes the space parallel to the wall in front. Please respect our neighbors in the compound and do not park on their side of the lot. If necessary to park on the street, please park on the warehouse side, not the residential side. Please look for and follow all posted signs. Remember that people live in our neighborhood; please be mindful of noise levels when walking to and from your car.

Parking is very limited – please consider carpooling, using Uber/Lyft, riding your bike (we have direct access from the LA River bike path), or taking public transportation.

Public Transportation
Train – We are a 30 minute walk from the Gold Line station at Lincoln Heights / Cypress Park.

Bus – We are a 10 minute walk from Metro Local Line 96 stop at Riverside Drive/ Dorris Place coming from the north on Riverside, or Riverside Drive/ Harwood Street. This line does not run consistently, please check the 96 metro schedule before planning your trip!

Bike – We are right off the Los Angeles River Greenway Trail that runs along the LA River. Exit at Riverdale Ave and we’re the next street over.

Accessibility

WCCW has a 36” wide ramp at our front entrance and a stairway with 8 steps and a rail. There is no reserved handicap parking but there is space to park alongside the ramp. We also have a wheelchair accessible restroom. We provide scent free soaps in our two gender neutral washrooms, and encourage guests to consider attending our events scent free. Please don’t hesitate to email info@wccw.us with any accessibility questions or needs, it is our practice to do everything we can to create a safe and accessible space.
